Originally a Tim Burton poem released in 1982, the ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’ was made into a film in 1993. Darker than the usual Halloween-Christmas fantasy films, The Nightmare Before Christmas film follows the adventures of ‘Jack Skellington’ who is the ‘Pumpkin King.’ Bored with the same routine of scaring people, he accidentally stumbles upon ‘Christmastown’ with all its colour and fun and wants to be a part of this culture.

Despite being released over 25 years ago, the animation style and the fantastic stop-motion animation process (which got it nominated for visual effects) is still as popular today with both kids and adults – all still enjoying the songs, stories, and characters as well.
